IV hydration therapy is a treatment involves fluids and essential nutrients being delivered directly into your bloodstream through a small IV which is inserted into your arm. The fluids included in the bag can be a mix of vitamins, electrolytes, antioxidants, and even medication. The electrolytes can include magnesium, potassium, B vitamins, sulfate, and calcium. Medications may help alleviate pain or nausea. Receiving fluid and nutrients via IV allows the fluids to circulate throughout your body much more quickly than drinking fluids would. It also bypasses the gastrointestinal tract which often flushes out fluid and nutrients. This leads to a faster recovery time, allowing your body to reap the benefits of hydration much more quickly through IV treatment than through oral hydration.

Ashley has devoted the past 19 years to the healthcare world and has spent her most recent 10 years practicing as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health. She graduated from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in 2006 and pursued her BSN soon after through The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During her time as a registered nurse, she cared for hospitalized patients in cardiac stepdown units, telemetry units, and cardiovascular ICU. Working as a Unit Coordinator at the height of her RN career, Ashley found her niche in women’s health and decided to pursue her education further. In 2014, she graduated from The University of Cincinnati as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She is credentialed by the National Certification Corporation and supported jointly by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as well as the North Carolina Medical Board. Her experience ranges from OBGYN practice and whole woman care, male hormone replacement therapy within a busy internal medicine practice, to aesthetic medicine within the Med-Spa setting, to finally settling down and establishing her own independent practice in order to offer a more integrative approach to wellness and health management. Ashley holds additional certifications in laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, advanced neurotoxin and dermal filler injectables, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and most recently completed Advanced Masterclass cadaver training for use of therapeutic Botox. Patients and clients appreciate her calm, understanding approach as well as her skilled demeanor. Outside of the office, Ashley stays busy with her family and enjoys the simple pleasures in life.
